Executive Director and CEC 952.888.0888 x 203 Gary S. Stevens Foundation dba Life's Headwaters 3260 Minnehaha Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55406
Cynthia "Cyn" Liggett is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Coach of the Gary S. Stevens Foundation. She also serves in the capacity of Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of Directors and has been directly involved since the organizations inception in June of 2004.
Cyn is a passionate, spiritual,
business woman, guide,
facilitator, coach and cheerleader. She is a personal and professional life
coach and owns and operates Kö-ching®
since 1998. She has been on hiatus from her own organization since the
inception of the Foundation. She believes,
"there is a distinct need for providing charitable coaching in our world.
Coaching is a real and very viable addition to personal growth and development
methods in our ever changing selves and world." The work she does with GSSF is absolutely a passionate
and loving connection to what she'd like to see more of in the world; people showing up and
taking their best personal action with awareness and by choice, willingly and gladly in lives well
rounded, desired, intended and lived.
She has studied business management, journalism and psychology in various universities throughout the United States and will complete her MBA in Non Profit Management through the University of St. Thomas in 2007. A female police dispatcher and police officer in the 70's, a sales assistant in a sales office who rose to become a senior vice president of sales and marketing in several Fortune 500 transportation companies, a successful few years working with manufacturing and software/hardware trade organizations in membership and contract negotiations, a working mom, a work from home info-preneur (phew) and the major contributor in the creation of the life she lives. Cyn has survived and flourished throughout her life journey, and like most of us, some of it wasn't pretty but it sure was fun!
Cyn currently resides in Minnesota with her college aged daughter and two marvelous dogs. In her spare time, beyond the passion of her work, her family and friends, she enjoys: traveling to lesser known places, dancing in her kitchen, the wind in her face, sailing, motorcycles, peace and quiet, her and other's art work, cooking, baking, music of any kind, writing books for children and articles for women's magazines and dabbling with the web.
Cyn believes in and knows what the power of one person self- actualizing can make in the world. She believes it, because she's living it and has personally witnessed it in over 500 clients.
